Free travel across Victoria this April is the perfect chance to try Hailo for yourself.

If you’ve ever missed a bus because the driver didn’t see you, or worried about overshooting your stop, Hailo has you covered.

With Hailo you can:
- Hail the driver so they know you’re waiting
- Get clear notifications when your stop is coming up
- Explore new routes with confidence
- Travel independently even in busy or unfamiliar areas

Fares are free all month, so it’s the ideal time to test Hailo on a new trip or routine.
Download the app, jump on a bus, and see how much easier your journey can be with Hailo guiding you.

💛 Move freely. Move confidently. Move with Hailo.

Public transport is free across Victoria - starting today and running throughout April - no ticket or myki needed, just hop on and go.

This includes Melbourne trains, trams and buses; and regional trains, coaches and buses.

If you’re travelling regionally, there is a few things to keep in mind:
- Travel must be within Victoria (with a few cross-border exceptions like Albury, Mount Gambier and Deniliquin)
- No seat reservations on V/Line trains
- Some coach services still require a reservation

💬 We love hearing from the public, especially when your stories remind us why Hailo exists.

Recently, someone shared an experience that so many people relate to:

“Having to hail buses is probably one of the most stressful parts of catching a bus. Instead of relaxing or reading at the stop, you’re constantly scanning the horizon. You wait until the bus is close enough to check the number, then you have to hail it. Relax at the wrong moment… and it just flies past.”

This is exactly one of the problems Hailo was built to solve.

Built for accessibility.

Used by everyone.

Whether you’re blind, new to the area, juggling a pram, carrying groceries, tired after work, or simply want to zone out with a podcast, no one should have to worry about missing their bus because they didn’t see it coming.

With Hailo, you can:

• 📱 Select your stop
• 🚌 Notify the driver ahead of time
• 😌 Relax knowing you won’t be passed by

This review says it all.

[Image 1: A screenshot of an app store ratings section showing a 5.0 out of 5 rating based on 16 ratings. Under “Most Helpful Reviews,” a review titled “Game changer!” from user It’s Jess V gives five stars and says, “I cannot recommend this app enough. As someone who used to spend entire bus trips glued to the map, watching that little blue dot and stressing about whether I’d miss my stop, this app has completely transformed my commute.”]
