Super hearing as a superpower?
Hailo’s real superpower is bringing the everyday barriers faced by people with disabilities to the forefront of design and turning them into solutions that make life easier for everyone.

People often ask whether having a vision impairment means you develop “super hearing.” Santiago unpacked this on ABC Brisbane with Steve Austin, using the moment to spotlight what actually matters: awareness, understanding, and building systems that work for all of us.

That’s exactly what Hailo is here to do.

More chances to move with confidence. 🏃‍♀️
Hail your bus with Hailo. 💚

Free public transport has been extended until the end of May across Victoria - no ticket or myki needed, just hop on and go.

This includes Melbourne trains, trams and buses; and regional trains, coaches and buses.

Travel must be within Victoria, with a few interstate exceptions - Albury, Mount Gambier and Deniliquin.

Please remember that seat reservations cannot be made during this time for V/Line trains but coach services that usually require reservations will still need one - don’t worry, it’s free to book. Jump onboard!

🌍 World Public Transport Day

For the everyday commuter. For the drivers. For the world moving together.

Public transport is the heartbeat of our cities, millions of people, all heading somewhere, all relying on networks that keep life moving.

Everyday, we see the same thing: people want public transport that’s easier, more accessible, and built for real life.

That’s why Hailo exists.
To make catching the bus simpler.
To make accessibility visible.
To make sure no one gets left behind.

From Melbourne to the world, we’re proud to be part of a global movement pushing for smarter, kinder, more inclusive transport.

🚌 Better journeys start with being seen.
🟡 Better access starts with being heard.
💛 Better cities start with all of us.
