We are medically managed by pathologists and a select and highly qualified team of scientific and senior management staff. SNP was formed in 1956 when Drs John Sullivan and Nick Nicolaides started a small pathology practice to service local families in and around Brisbane. Since then it has grown to one of the largest pathology practices in Australia. Our CEO, Dr Michael Harrison, is a pathologist. All department directors are pathologists, and pathologists are represented at all levels of management. Our pathologists and senior management staff encourage doctors to contact them for information, consultation, or advice at any time. Our Medical Liaison Managers are available to assist clinicians and their staff with the practicalities of using our services.
