🎄 CHRISTMAS CLOSURE NOTICE 🎄
We would like to inform our patients Bunbury Family Doctors will be closed from Wednesday, 24th December 2025, and will reopen on Monday, 5th January 2026.
Our last working day before the Christmas break will be Tuesday, 23rd December 2025.
If you require urgent medical attention during this period, please present to the Emergency Department at Bunbury Regional Hospital or present to Urgent Care Clinic in Eaton.

🎄✨ Our Annual Kids Christmas Colouring Competition is back! ✨🎄

It’s that time of year again! Call into the clinic and pick up a colouring sheet for the kids. We can’t wait to see their creativity shine.

0 – 6 years
7 – 12 years

A prize winner will be drawn for each category!

Competition closes: Wednesday 17th December at 4:30pm

Farewell Dr Lauren Gibson

It was a very sad day on Friday for Bunbury Family Doctors as we said goodbye to Dr Lauren Gibson on her final day in clinic.

Lauren has been such an integral part of our team from day one. Her care, compassion, and dedication have made such a difference to our patients and staff alike.

The team came together Friday evening to farewell Lauren and celebrate her time with us.

Wishing you and the family all the very best with your move to Perth, you are already so greatly missed!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This October, Dr O'Dea is showing his support for Breast Cancer Awareness by wearing his pink scrubs.

A friendly reminder to all our patients, early detection is key.

Farewell to Dr Lauren Gibson

We would like to let our patients know that Dr Lauren Gibson’s last day with Bunbury Family Doctors will be Friday 17th October.

Lauren is currently on leave and will return on Thursday 9th October for her final four shifts with us. Please note that Lauren is already fully booked for her remaining appointments.

We are so grateful for Lauren’s dedication and support since day one and know she will be greatly missed by both our team and her patients. We wish her all the very best with her move to Perth and the exciting opportunities ahead.

Dr Lauren Gibson’s patients are welcome to book future appointments with Dr Brendan O’Dea, Dr Lara Jackson and Dr Anita Pratt at Bunbury Family Doctors.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We would like to inform our patients that as of Thursday 11th August 2025, Dr Lauren Gibson will be reducing her consulting days to Thursdays and Fridays.

Later this year, Dr Lauren will be relocating to Perth due to family reasons.

We are very sad to see Dr Lauren go, she is such a valued doctor and team member here at Bunbury Family Doctors. Her dedication and care for her patients have made a lasting impact, and she will be greatly missed by both staff and patients.

We thank Dr Lauren for her contribution and commitment to our practice, and we know she will be an asset with her future endeavours.
