We’re pleased to introduce Dr Jeffrey Smith, who is joining our team as a GP Registrar as of Monday 2nd February.

Dr Jeffrey Smith graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2013 and has a broad clinical background, including extensive experience in general surgery and emergency medicine. This has given him a strong foundation in acute care, procedural skills, and thorough patient assessment for patients of all ages, which he brings to his role in general practice.

Welcome Dr Harriet Beevor.

We’re pleased to introduce Dr Harriet Beevor, who is joining our team as a GP Registrar as of Monday 2nd February. Dr Harriet will be working Monday and Tuesday's in clinic.

Originally from the UK, Harriet completed her medical degree at Notre Dame in Fremantle.
She has worked for almost 10 years in a number of emergency departments in metro and rural WA, and is starting her GP training. She has a special interests in paediatrics and palliative care, and is committed to compassionate, patient centred care across all stage of life.

When not at work, Harriet enjoys spending time with her 3 young kids at the beach or in the pool.

Welcome Dr Hui Yan Wong.

We’re pleased to introduce Dr Hui Yan Wong, who is joining our team as a full time GP Registrar as of Monday 2nd February.

Dr Yan is currently undertaking her specialist training in General Practice. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia and has worked across multiple hospitals in Perth before moving to the South West for her GP training.

Yan enjoys working with patients from all backgrounds and is committed to providing thoughtful, holistic care.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with friends and family, cooking, and exploring new restaurants and local dining spots.

Big Congratulations to Dr Anita Pratt!

We’re so excited to share the wonderful news that Dr Anita Pratt will be heading off on maternity leave in late February. Such a special and joyful milestone for Anita and her husband!

From 2nd February, Dr Pratt will be reducing her clinic days to Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with her last clinic day being Thursday 26th February 2026.

We have more exciting news to share very soon, so make sure you’re following along, stay tuned for more information!

Dr Pratt is fully booked, however she will have some 'on the day' appointments available. Please contact our friendly reception team from 8.00am Monday - Fridays on 9778 5800 or feel free to book via our website www.bunburyfamilydoctors.com.au.

Today is Dr Angela Lovell's last day in clinic before heading off on maternity leave as she gets ready to welcome baby number 4.

Dr Lovell is a wonderful addition to our team and we look forward to her return in the coming years.

Our clinic is closed from for the Christmas break from Wednesday 24th December, reopening on Monday 5th January 2026.

If you require urgent medical attention during this period, please present to the Emergency Department at Bunbury Regional Hospital or present to Urgent Care Clinic in Eaton.

We would like to sincerely thank our wonderful staff and our amazing patients for your support throughout the year. We celebrated the festive season with our team over lunch at Vat 2. A well-deserved chance to relax and reflect together.

It’s been a big year for our clinic, with exciting things ahead in 2026, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
