Clinipath Laboratory Hours Update

With the recent change to our Clinipath Laboratory hours, we can confirm the service is now available Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Please note the laboratory will be closed from 12:30pm – 1:00pm each day for a 30-minute lunch break.

We encourage our patients to take advantage of the convenience of having an on-site pathology collection service at Bunbury Family Doctors. 🩺

If you require pathology, please see your GP for a request form.

Important Update: Clinipath Laboratory Hours Extending

We’re pleased to let our patients know that as of Tuesday, 3rd March, our on-site Clinipath Laboratory hours will be extending to:

🕣 8.30am – 3.30pm

Monday to Friday
Closed Public Holidays

The laboratory will close for a 30-minute lunch break, with the exact time to be confirmed by Clinipath in the coming days. We will keep you updated once this is finalised.

We’re very excited about these extended hours as our practice continues to grow, with new doctors joining our team and a now full and thriving practice. This change will provide greater convenience and accessibility for our patients.

We are excited to introduce Lisa, our new nurse who is working with us on Mondays.

Lisa graduated as a Registered Nurse 13 years ago and has been living and working in Bunbury ever since. Born and raised locally, she has travelled widely around Australia with her high school sweetheart and their three children.

Lisa brings a broad range of hospital experience across many specialties, including:

Medical & surgical nursing
Palliative care
Oncology
Coronary care

Lisa is now looking forward to continuing her nursing career in a local community setting and supporting patients closer to home.

We’re pleased to introduce Dr Jeffrey Smith, who is joining our team as a GP Registrar as of Monday 2nd February.

Dr Jeffrey Smith graduated from the University of Western Australia in 2013 and has a broad clinical background, including extensive experience in general surgery and emergency medicine. This has given him a strong foundation in acute care, procedural skills, and thorough patient assessment for patients of all ages, which he brings to his role in general practice.
