LUCIA LAMP SESSION FOR MENTAL RESILIENCE
These before-and-after evaluations of a 20-minute Lucia Lamp session were taken on the HeartQuest Pro software.
The Brain activity estimate is derived by algorithm from analysis of heart rate variability.
NOTE
• Brain Power Spectrum (dial at the bottom of the page) changes from Very Low (39) to Optimal (145).
• The Brain Wave Profile chart at the top of the page displays richer and more varied waves after the session.
The subject reported feeling markedly less stressed, more alert and open, and colours seemed richer.

Hi Folks, I am evaluating an amazing piece of light technology, with a view to buying it, but am seeking help from a couple of seasoned people to help me evaluate it's potential.
It is the Lucia light #3 developed by an Austrian duo (a Psychiatrist and a Neurologist) and is designed specifically to induce expanded states of consciousness via light shone onto the forehead (with eyes closed). Basically it uses a combination of still full-spectrum light and strobing LEDs, which produce an amazing array of coloured geometry, accompanied by a sense of relaxation and insight. In a sense it is a drug-free psychadelic modality that produces a hypnogogic state. The experience (which lasts 20-30 minutes) is amazing and sometimes quite intense. Usually you feel great afterwards, but for some people there seems to be something of a psycho-physical detox to follow (depending on what is underlying and unresolved).
I am inviting a couple of people to experience a series of sessions (about 5) to evaluate if it induces a significant change in state of consciousness. It seems to have great potential with depression, trauma, negativity etc and also as an aid to meditative practise; but at this stage I am only wanting to work with people who are mature enough to handle any reactions that might arise due to deeper issues being unearthed.
The first session would be free, with subsequent sessions costing about $25 to help me cover rental expenses.
I am looking at this lamp, firstly because I have worked a lot with light technologies and am excited by their continued evolution, but mostly because there are so many darkened minds and states of consciousness around these days, and this is a possible way of literally introducing light to the mind (There is a whole lot of photobiological research emerging about the role of light - but that's a story for another day).
