We’re only just getting around to sharing a few photos from the previous weekend.

One of our participants attended the annual Predators Den event with support from our team, enjoying a weekend filled with adventure, teamwork, problem-solving and plenty of laughs.

For us, support is about more than getting from A to B. It’s about helping people access experiences that matter to them, build confidence, develop social connections and create memories that last long after the weekend is over.

These opportunities help build independence, resilience and community participation while doing something they genuinely enjoy.

This is what building capacity looks like. 💛

We are so excited to officially welcome Connor to the Be Seen family! 💛

Connor is beginning his journey in support work with a genuine passion for helping people grow, build confidence, and work through life’s challenges alongside them. He believes there is nothing more rewarding than being part of someone’s journey and supporting them toward a more independent and fulfilling future - and we absolutely love that. 🌿

Outside of work, Connor enjoys fishing, camping, 4WDing, and spending time outdoors trying new things and meeting new people.

We cannot wait to see the positive impact Connor will make within our community and our team. ✨

We are so excited to officially welcome Chelsea to the Be Seen Support & Coordination family in just 2 weeks time! ☀️

A little bit about Chelsea -

“Hi, I’m Chelsea 👋🏼
I recently finished working as an Early Childhood Educator in Brisbane and am now moving to Bundaberg to begin a career in disability support work. Supporting and caring for others has always been something I’m passionate about, and I find a lot of fulfilment in helping people feel valued, comfortable, and supported in their everyday lives.

I wanted to move into disability support because I enjoy building genuine connections with people and being able to make a positive difference, no matter how big or small.

Outside of work, I love exercising, going for walks with my dog, spending time with family, and travelling.” 🤍

Chelsea has such a warm and caring nature, and we already know she is going to make such a beautiful impact within our team and for the people we support.

⭐️IT’S TIME!⭐️

Here is a little sneak peek at our new space 🤍

Today our lounges arrived and honestly… it made everything feel a little more real.🥹☀️

What started as a dream between two people who simply wanted to help others feel seen, heard and supported is slowly becoming a space filled with warmth, comfort and care.

We are so incredibly excited to finally be able to share where we are located and open our doors to this next chapter. 🫶🏼

If you’re ever in the area, please feel free to pop in and say hello! Whether you’re a participant, provider, family member or just wanting to learn more about what we do, our door is always open. 🤍 (except for when we are out and about in the community🤗)

Hi everyone ⭐️

We’re currently supporting a lovely mum who has a beautiful 6-year-old daughter recently diagnosed with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder from being Level 2, and we are hoping to connect with some autism-friendly playgroups, social groups, sensory programs or inclusive community activities around Bundaberg🌈

Mum is navigating a lot at the moment and we would love to help build some gentle, supportive connections for both her and her daughter.

We are particularly looking for:
✨ Autism-friendly playgroups
✨ Sensory-friendly activities
✨ Inclusive social groups
✨ Parent support groups
✨ Any welcoming spaces that understand higher support needs

✨Happy Saturday✨

We received a message from Preston last week after taking Mudgie rock climbing and you could just feel the excitement through the video 🥹🧗‍♂️

The first time Mudgie went, Preston said he mostly spent the session checking it all out, taking it in and only climbing a few steps up the wall while he built his confidence 💪🏼

But when they went back the second time, Mudgie absolutely shocked himself and Preston with how high he managed to get!✨

Preston told us he was SO excited and proud of himself that he immediately asked to be recorded so he could show us all how high he had climbed 😭🙌

Moments like these are when you remember your why and in these moments, we’ll cheer the loudest for you every single time. So incredibly proud of you, Mudgie

Not just the climbing itself, but seeing that confidence build, seeing someone realise “hey… I CAN do this”, and watching the pride take over when they achieve something they didn’t think they could 🤍

Safe to say we were all pretty proud of our boy after this one 💛⭐️
