This has been something we’ve been working towards for a while, and it feels so special to finally be taking this next step. A space where we can welcome our participants, connect in person and continue to grow what we do 🫶

We’re just getting everything set up behind the scenes, but we’ll be sharing all the details (including where to find us 👀) very soon!

We can’t wait to open our doors and create a warm, safe space for you all 🤍

What a big week it’s been here in Bundaberg 🌧️💪

We were flat out last week getting around the community and helping wherever we could during the floods. Honestly, it was awesome to see everyone come together.

We kicked things off at the SES trying to grab sandbags… and yep, ended up in a 2 hour line with no sand 😅 Once it finally arrived, we jumped in and helped the SES crew load up cars and utes to get things moving quicker so people could get home and protect their places.

After that, we helped get Elliot’s Books sandbagged and ready, you could see the water coming up pretty quickly at that point.

Thursday and Friday were all about the clean-up, pulling sandbags back up and helping get things sorted again.

Then Monday we were back at it, helping clear out Box’s of Books so they can get everything cleaned up and back on track.

Also a massive shoutout to our amazing support workers who stayed calm through it all and kept showing up to deliver supports where they were needed most, we’re lucky to have you 👏

Big effort all round, but we’re just glad we could lend a hand where it was needed ❤️

We had the pleasure of attending this open day yesterday and were genuinely impressed with the entire setup! 🙌

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by such lovely people and an incredibly friendly atmosphere, it was warm & inclusive, and something really special.

And we have to mention… the kitchen! 😍 It looked amazing and smelt even better, you could tell a lot of care and pride goes into what’s being created here.

A huge well done to everyone involved 👏 It’s clear you’re building something truly meaningful, and we’re excited to see what’s next!

I’m also looking for a Psychosocial Recovery Coach who practises Christianity. If anyone has any recommendations or can point me in the right direction, I’d be very grateful! 💛
