It's so great to get out in the community meeting other service provider staff. My client and I had the honour of meeting the lovely Grace at the "Sports and Spinal" Springfield at the Waterworx Aquatic Centre today.

Grace was lovely, kind and very helpful. She did an assessment with my client and figured out the best way to support her to do Hydrotherapy.

Grace you were amazing and I can't wait to see the difference that comes about in this client.

The facility was great and they do a broad range of Allied Health services.

When I found 'The Stables' I couldn't have fathomed the joy and the way it would help my client come out of his shell. In this place and after, he has been truly a different person and cant wait for the next session. He loves animals but is just in awe around the horses.

Helen is such amazing person! Truly passionate and full of techniques for calming and assisting people to manage how there feeling through the horses.

TIP OF THE DAY:

When you receive your NDIS Package make sure to speak to someone for advice in what you can do with your funding. A good Local Area Coordinator or NDIS Planner will help to create goals that can be used in a broad way. It is always wise to have your plan, plan managed. When it is NDIA Managed it may mean that there are hundreds of brilliant services that are inaccessible as they have to be NDIS Registered Service Providers. So always keep your options broad to receive the best service possible.

Services having competition is never a bad thing it's helps you to find those who are passionate in helping those with disabilities.

'Peak Plan Management' you smash out of the park giving people amazing ideas on how to use your plans.

'Focal Community Services' your client service managers, support workers and activities are amazing fulfill the wants and needs of our community. You help others to truly experience being a part of something they love.

'Hypar Wild Outdoor Activities' making experiences unforgettable doing activities like kayaking, rock climbing, bush walking, fishing or camping. All being supported by support workers and always in a completely safe way.

'Everybody EBikes' providing electric bikes so that people can get out in the nature enjoying what so many of us take for granted.

'Lite'n'Easy' for those who struggle who make balanced healthy meals but can with some simple support heat up a great meal.

'BodySmart Health' for all kinds of body strength building for those with disabilities. Exercise Physiologists, Hydrotherapy, Physio, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and dieticians.

'Jacks Butterflies' for Cleaning, Gardening and Support Workers amongst many things.

'Trusted Travel' for holidays with a difference. It's part respite, part holiday. Always wanted to go on a cruise, go overseas or just the next city. Support workers can assist with all your needs and they organise it all for you if needed.

'Cocoon' for Supported Disability Accommodation. There is absolutely a way for people with disabilities to live independently and it all starts finding a safe place to call home.

'Kindred Music Therapy' assisting to improve communication skills, fine motor skills and cognitive and sensory stimulation.

My client having lots of fun out in the community over the last week! Out for dinner at CSI Ipswich on Saturday night with live music and a fun game of Putt Putt in Raceview on Friday.

In the last few weeks I have been very happy for the clients that i have been assisting to apply for funding so that they can make the choices that will help them to have their best lives.

I have multiple clients that have received news either that there Access Forms had been accepted and they are waiting for there planning meetings. There have been others that are patiently waiting to hear whether they have been accepted or not.

I'm so proud of them for being proactive and doing everything possible to make sure they have the best possible chance. That along with medical professionals and service providers working together is having a huge impact on these peoples lives
