Maintaining weight within a kg 1 month post photoshoot prep. Maintaining lost weight is a skill I have not always had. The stats are 90% of people who lose weight, gain it back. And I have done that a few times in my life
The key this time was the foods I ate, the exercise I did and the lifestyle I lived is one I LOVE! And while I’m eating more and having more flexible weekends, majority of the time I’m eating the same foods I did losing weight.
I still have to make some sacrifices, I can’t always eat the takeaway my husband eats, or I portion it smaller than I probably really want.
I still prioritize protein, fiber, carbs for fuel, sleep, steps and exercise.
If you want to maintain it, make sure you love it

Another amazing 8 weeks down for Vanessa. These pics are about 16 weeks progress with a holiday in between!
She learnt how to enjoy a holiday without gaining weight and she also is working on choosing herself and her priorities when others around her might be not br choosing as wisely. This is a super tough challenge for anyone, because most likely we are the sum of those around us. It takes real effort to go against that.
I’m so proud of Vanessa ms progress choosing health and looking incredible.

It’s not rude to say no thanks to food! Some people show love with food but it doesn’t mean you’re obligated to go against what you really want to do

I’ve been there before, I didn’t meet my goals today because food was presented or offered to me (birthday cake or office celebrations, hubby bought home maccas, my son offers me chocolate). But practicing saying no had let me reflect on whether I do actually want to eat it or I want to stick to my planned food that day.

If it’s something you know you’ll enjoy and feel good eating, you can always have a think and say oh actually I will. But when you do eat, eat on your own terms.

Would you believe my client completed 100% of her daily habits for 8 weeks?! And what happens when you follow the plan…? You get results like this! 5.6kg down, 10cm off her hips, 8cm off her waist & 11cm off her chest
I’m immensely proud she’s enjoying her food, finding her habits very doable and loving the results
