The importance of knowing your “WHY” 🥗

Whenever you set a lifestyle change-related goal—whether it’s losing weight and feeling better in your body, consuming more fruits and vegetables, or aiming to eat more protein-rich foods—you need a reason for wanting to make these changes. A clear "WHY" reinforces your motivation when forming new habits, guides your decision-making related to your goal, and helps keep you on track. Next time you plan to make a change, remember to write down your "WHY" next to your goal. Then, stick this goal and your reason for wanting to change in locations where you’ll see them regularly.

INJURED AT THE GYM? 🤕

A huge number of injuries in the gym aren’t actually to do with doing an exercise ‘wrong’. Often the issue comes from an acute load spike where there is just more stress on a certain tissue than it can handle.

Make small changes in intensity, only modify one or two variables from session to session (weight, reps, speed etc.) and stay consistent and you’ll see results while reducing your injury risk.

No one works harder than Terri! Terri is an Australian Army Veteran, who faced a life-altering car accident after her deployments. Despite being wheelchair-bound with severe injuries to her arm and leg, she defied odds, undergoing surgeries and intense rehabilitation. Her determination led her to become a competitive athlete again, qualifying for the CrossFit Games in San Antonio as a Neuro Major competitor.

Incredible to see her growth and how determined she is with her training 💪
