This is why it’s so important to document memories.
To capture everything.
Even if you don’t feel your best. Even if you don’t look your best.
This is what we leave behind.

Tammy is a dear, dear friend of mine. She is my lifeline.
She’s been my muse, and she’s beautifully documented my family over the years.

Tammy was recently diagnosed with an aggressive and incurable cancer, and heartbreakingly, she’s been given just weeks to live.

I stepped into Tammy’s world for an afternoon — to document her love, her life, and her beautiful babies. It was emotional, it was raw, but more than anything… it was sacred.

I’m so incredibly grateful to be able to offer sessions like this — not only to Tammy and her family, but to anyone, anytime, anywhere.
These moments matter. These stories are so important.

Tammy, my dear love — as your weeks dwindle to days, and days into hours and minutes…
Please know how much I love your electric soul.
I’m endlessly grateful for you in every possible way.

This world will ache in your absence.
The devastation will be heavy.
But these moments… these captured glimpses of your love… they will make it just a little easier.

When we look to the skies and see you dancing in the sunset, we’ll remember your light.
We’ll remember your joy.
We’ll remember you.

Milestone birthdays deserve to be celebrated loudly. Not everyone gets to make the next lap — and that’s why I’ll always honour another trip around the sun.

I never understood why people shy away from getting “another year older.” I flip the script:
Another year I survived. Another year I thrived. And that’s always worth celebrating. 🖤✨
