Last night I got asked to MC for the Byron Film Festival at the launch of .movie
This was a massive honour as these were mates of mine that made it and I was not only there on the day of the accident, but held Ben’s leg while we waited for the ambulance
I’m used to getting up in from of crowds for my breathing events but this was different and to say I was sh****ng my pants would be putting it lightly
The boys have made an epic movie. I highly recommend checking it out.
While it is a skydiving movie, to some extent it’s really about recovery, both mental and physical
A subject that holds a lot of value to me
Big shout out to Patrick , who is not usually a documentary filmmaker. He really made something that you’d expect a whole team. All while facing his own personal struggles
You can tell a lot of heart went into this
Remember, if you’re going through a hard time…
It will pass
And it’s more than ok to ask for help or share what your going through
There are very high chances that someone you know has been there before
