At SCMB Disability Supports, we know how important it is to have a place where people feel safe, included and supported. Our centre-based group programs in Caboolture provide opportunities for people to connect, build friendships and grow in confidence, all while working towards their NDIS goals.

Our activities are designed to support both skill development and enjoyment. Each week, participants are encouraged to take part in:
• 🎨 Arts & Crafts – exploring creativity through painting, drawing, craft projects and personal expression.
• 👩‍🍳 Cooking & Life Skills – preparing simple meals, learning kitchen safety, and building independence.
• 🎲 Games & Social Time – encouraging teamwork, communication and confidence through fun and interactive group games.
• 🧘 Health & Wellbeing – gentle exercise, mindfulness activities, and discussions about healthy living.
• 🌍 Community Connection – opportunities to learn about and link in with local community resources, events and programs.

🌟 NDIS Changes in 2025 – What You Need to Know 🌟

The NDIS is going through some big changes this year, and it’s important to stay informed so you can make the most of your plan. Here’s a quick breakdown:

✅ Funding Periods & Flexibility
Your NDIS budget will now be released in set funding periods (instead of all at once). This helps with better planning and ensures funding lasts the whole year.

✅ Clearer Plans
New plan documents show your total budget, funding categories, and funding period — making it easier to understand where your money goes.

✅ Plan Management Changes
If the NDIA sees you’re struggling to manage funds, they may adjust your plan management type to help you stay on track.

✅ Pricing & Travel Adjustments
From July 2025, there are updates to service pricing and provider travel claims, based on the latest Annual Price Review.

✅ Claims & Payments Transparency
The NDIS is rolling out a new framework so claims and payments are clearer, fairer, and easier to track.
