Mindful eating helps you slow down, tune in, and recognise when you’re actually hungry (or just bored, stressed, or distracted).

Here are a few simple tips:
✔ Slow down and chew properly
✔ Eat without screens or distractions
✔ Check in with your hunger before and during meals
✔ Stop when you’re satisfied — not stuffed

So proud of all my babies this year. Roland was awarded the Citizenship award today at school. This is his 3rd time getting this award🥰

Willow smashed her first year of school being awarded the academic endevour award. She LOVES reading and learning and has thrived at school.

And my middle baby, even though she didn't get an award today, I am so super proud of how bloody resilient she has been this year and how well she has stood up for herself, particularly during constant challenges at school.

My goal was only to finish.

Running a marathon has been on my bucket list🪣 for a while. I wanted to run one before I turned 40. While I didn't quite achieve that (only 5 months out) but I still entered one before I turned 40 so am still going to count it 🤩

Finishing 3rd in my category is pretty good for someone that just wanted to finish. Even if my time wasn't great and they got my age category wrong 🤣🤣 I'm taking it anyway😁😁

Alot can happen in 12 months (well, 2 weeks past 12 months anyway). A year of firsts for me. And a year of ticking things off my bucket list.

🏋‍♀️ Competed in my first ever Powerlifting Competition Deep North last year

🏋 Competed in my first ever Crossfit Competition in January

🏃‍♂️ Completed my first ever Marathon (and my longest ever run finishing the 42.2k run).

Every single thing I've been a part of has had the best community and support around it. I am so proud to be a part of so many different communities who come together to for one reason - to support others.

Alot can happen in 12 months. Stay tuned for the next 12 months!

Girls Gone RX is a crossfit competition supporting women. Women who have been through Breast Cancer. Women who have been affected by Breast Cancer. Women who know someone who has been affected by Breast Cancer. On the 24th of June I am participating in another crossfit comp - Girls Gone RX.
