Grassroots Reflections

Grassroots Reflections Grassroots Reflections is a vibrant, fun and engaging one-day program for personal development.

As a Social Worker and Social Planner, I recognised that we struggle to identify our strengths and skills and to pinpoint what gets us through a challenging time. We often come up with excuses, without truly understanding what is stopping us from achieving our goals and dreams. This can have crippling effects in the long run and create a vicious cycle that we struggle to get out of. I created Grassroots Reflections to uncover the reasons that hold us back from achieving our potential, and to draw individual strengths and skills to create positive self-image and experience that can lead to personal growth. In delivering this program, I draw on 15 years of work experience working with asylum seekers, people in LGBTQ+ community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders. My roles allowed me to deliver services in employment, Community, homelessness, alcohol and other drugs, Mental health, and suicide prevention and as a School Counsellor. I have worked with people of all ages, from children to youth and adults.
