All are invited to join us for our biggest event of the year - our conference night “After Dark”
Held on the Esplanade at the beautiful Guyala, “After Dark” is an evening event with exciting speakers exploring topics on women in the criminal justice system with plenty of cocktails and gourmet canapes served between speakers.
Our fabulous speakers include:
Dr Xanthe Mallet - a Scottish forensic anthropologist, criminologist, and television presenter. She specialises in human craniofacial biometrics and hand identification, and behaviour patterns of paedophiles, particularly online.
Stephanie Williams - FNQ coroner who graduated from JCU in 2006 and her career traverses criminal defence, prosecutorial work, appearing in coronial inquests, sports tribunals and a commission of inquiry. She has worked as a legal practitioner in Queensland, the Northern Territory and the UK. On 11 December 2023 Her Honour was appointed as the Northern Coroner, recognising her expertise in the coronial jurisdictions of Queensland and the Northern Territory.
Tickets are discounted for members of the FNQLDA.
This event is made possible by our brilliant sponsors Sage Financial Advice and MIPS
