Neuro-Spicey Solutions offers NDIS Support Coordination to help you confidently use your plan.

We assist with understanding your plan, connecting to services, coordinating supports, building self-management skills, resolving issues, and preparing for reviews.

Our role includes setting goals, managing budgets, finding providers, monitoring supports, advocating for you, and assisting with documentation.

We ask you to share plan details, inform us of changes, and stay involved. Your privacy is protected under the NDIS Code of Conduct and Privacy Act 1988.

We provide mobile and telehealth services.

We are a judgment free zone, in fact, we welcome you to take a minute, because we see you as a person first. Parenting is hard, messy and it’s not perfect- so we hold space, not judgment when you need it most ❤️ call us if you need reminding that it’s ok, to not be ok too!

Once upon a time, I was a parent who, at times, let the judgment and opinion of others impact my confidence because my kids made too much noise or had a melt down in public - 2 of my kids are Neuro-Spicey, 2 are not. I learnt very quickly:

1. One size solution doesn’t fit all!

2. The only opinions that matter are those of my kids, it was hard blocking out the judgment- but laying on the floor in Cole’s with my kid many years ago, because one
of them weren’t coping (completely emotionally deregulated)- means my kids now know I’ve got their back and together we work it out.

*there is no such thing as the perfect parent, just be good enough- which means, we do the best we can with the resources we have. ✌🏽

At Neuro-spicey Solutions, I am often asked 2 things about DFV:

1.Why are the men always labled as the perpetrators? They continue.. women yell, shout, hit and swear too…
- this is often reactive to the behaviours they are experiencing, its called reactive abuse and it is real, but be sure you understand that reactive abuse is how some partners keep themselves safe.

Men will naturally hold the power in a relationship, this is due to their size, earning capacity and ability to essentially, there is a power embalance.

2. Can men be “fixed”?
- yes!!! Any learnt behaviour can be unlearned. If you are willing, and want to change!
