Daily spiritual practice is my saving grace and now I know it’s scientifically proven to strengthen my brain, I will never feel guilty for spending time on my spiritual endeavors again. I know there is great generational trauma resulting from historic religious persecutions and most people (in my experience) have deep resentment towards religion and consequently also shun spiritual practices and anything “unseen”.
While I don’t believe in God as religion portrays, there is no denying that superior unseen forces exist. Call it what you will, I encourage you to get curious and connect with it. True spirituality is a unique experience to you. Nobody else can tell you what God is to you, you must experience it for yourself in order to enjoy the endless unfolding of higher wisdom from it.
If you don’t want to connect to God or don’t know how to connect to “unseen” forces, start by connecting to a loved one in spirit. My life experiences have proven to me without a doubt that there is a spirit world that interacts with ours. Even if you don’t believe in the spirit realm, I urge you to try connecting to your ancestors and then tell you didn’t feel their presence. Explore and experiment connecting to something higher than yourself until you find/remember your truth and you can create your own daily spiritual practice. Your brain and life circumstances will thank you. Spiritual health and development is the foundation of my holistic business and what I believe is the missing piece we are all seeking.
