When Should You See A Fertility Specialist?

In Australia, at least 1 in 6 couples experience difficulty conceiving, so if you’re struggling, you’re definitely not alone.

Seeing a Fertility Specialist doesn’t mean you’re heading straight for IVF. It simply means you’re ready to take control, get informed, and explore your options, whether you’re trying now or planning for later.

At Birds of Paradise, Dr Jackson offers specialist fertility care focused on giving you the information you need to make confident, informed decisions. From understanding your cycle to exploring treatment pathways like ovulation support, reproductive surgery, or IVF, we’re here to guide you with honesty, care, and clarity.

You might consider booking a Fertility Specialist appointment if:
You’re under 35 and haven’t conceived after 12 months of trying
You’re 35 or older and haven’t conceived after 6 months of trying
You have a known or suspected condition that may affect fertility, such as PCOS or Endometriosis.

Women's Health Week - Heart disease is a leading cause of death for Australian women, but it often goes unrecognised.

Symptoms can present differently in women than men, and stress and hormones play a bigger role than many people realise.

Being heart smart means knowing your numbers, understanding your risk, and booking a check-up when something doesn’t feel right.

💬 Ask your GP about a cardiovascular risk assessment tailored for women.
