Aum Unlimited Yoga

Aum Unlimited Yoga Yoga is about connection. It's connecting mind body and spirit, it's connecting to our own truth and to each other. Connect with us here in the spirit of Yoga.

It's connection with the essence of life itself. The possibilities are unlimited. Yoga is an ancient science of self discovery. Through focusing our awareness on body and breath we become more present to our moment to moment experience. The whole of existence is interconnected, everything in the universe is made up of energy vibrating at different frequencies. I n our yoga practise we learn to tune in to this deeper connection with all that is, experiencing a deep sense of inner peace. When we feel connected to life we can relax we don't need to struggle against anything. When we learn to relax and let go out energy is free for living and enjoying life. Our body is our vehicle to live in this word, by gently exploring it's limits we learn to live and move with more ease and efficiency.

Happy valentines Lovers. Can’t believe i did a class on the heart and forgot to say it. đŸ€

There is a lovely idea in the Celtic tradition that if you send out goodness from yourself, or if you share that which is happy or good within you, it will all come back to you multiplied ten thousand times. In the kingdom of love there is no competition, there is no possessiveness or control. The more love you give away, the more love you will have.

Ive always found it hard to articulate why i dont teach just meditation, but this is good.

I think its because with out working with the body too its next to impossible to do well.

Let me say this straight up, because I see it all the time.

If your mind won’t shut up when you sit down to meditate,
it’s not because you’re bad at it.
It’s not because you’re undisciplined.
And it’s definitely not because you’re “not spiritual enough.”

It’s because you’re trying to calm the mind without calming the system first.

For me...that’s like paddling out in a messy swell and telling the ocean to relax.

Good luck with that...

Most people go straight to,
“Sit still. Watch the thoughts. Don’t react.”

Meanwhile, their nervous system is fried.
Coffee. Screens. Stress. Deadlines. Noise.

And then they wonder why their head sounds like the pub on a Friday night.

Here’s the simple truth:

A calm mind comes after a regulated body.

In yoga, the order matters.
Always has.

First, you settle the body.
Then you calm the nervous system.
Then the breath drops.
Then and only then, the mind starts to behave itself.

When you skip those first steps, meditation feels like hard work.
Like you’re wrestling with yourself.

That’s not mind mastery.
That’s just effort.

In Mind Coach, we don’t start with big concepts or long sits.
We start with the basics that actually work:
đŸ‘‰đŸŒRegulating the nervous system
đŸ‘‰đŸŒ Stabilising attention
đŸ‘‰đŸŒ Teaching the mind how to slow down, naturally

Once that’s in place, something funny happens.

The mind wants to go quiet.
You don’t have to force it.

And when it does, that’s when clarity starts showing up.
Not as ideas you invent, but insights that drop in.

I'll be sharing more about manifestation, not the Instagram version, but why life starts moving in a focused direction when the mind is still, and the signal is clean.

It’s not because you’re bad at it...

“Duration of time for practice depends upon one’s dedication and devotion to the art. First begin and let things take their own time. Practice for physical health is one thing and practice to learn the art with an open mind to receive what comes on its own and how far it takes is quite another. For the latter, one needs lifelong attentive practice. For such a practitioner, the question of time does not arise. As one gets excited with the feel of stimulation and exhilaration, he may be tempted to practise longer. Though this healthy temptation is good, a judicious dialogue between body, mind and intellect is essential in practice.”

Life is not what you think

It’s what you are doing
(or what’s doing you)

Life is not something you have to earn, master or hack,
It’s already right here. This Body, this breath, this heartbeat.

You are It
The prize that is life is unfolding each moment from the inside.

Don’t miss your life chasing a small minded Idea of what it should look like.
Life is not what you think,
It’s how you are.

Our Story

My Name is Shanti Meera and I share Yoga in the Camden/Macarthur District. I teach Multi Level public classes at the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens and private classes. This is not the Yoga of ‘perfection’, it is about embracing the wonder that you already are.
