This year at Harmony Week (17-23 March) we celebrate the spirit of multiculturalism with this year’s theme, “Harmony – We All Have a Role to Play!”

At Scouts Australia, we welcome everyone—regardless of cultural background, abilities, gender, or age. As a youth development organisation led by dedicated volunteer Leaders from diverse backgrounds, we believe in building stronger, more united communities.

Here are some ideas to celebrate:
🎭 Invite a cultural group to perform at your Scout group.
🍳 Host a cultural cook-off and explore flavors from around the world.
🎶 Dive into another culture through music and traditions.

No matter how you celebrate, let’s come together to spread the message of inclusion, respect, and unity!

🎶 One of the biggest Scout events is happening again this year - ScoutHike!

🎺 Organised by Sydney North Region Scouts, ScoutHike is a weekend full of activities, hiking and fun! And best of all, registrations are open to all. This year's theme is "Pick Your Playlist", so expect plenty of music-themed activities during the weekend of 2-4 May.

🎸 Last year over 900 youth attended ScoutHike, and this year is sure to be another big one. Make sure you sign up now so you don't get fomo!

This Australia Day, we congratulate the list of members who receive an Australia Day Honour Award for their outstanding contribution to their communities. Scouting members were also recognised by their local communities in award ceremonies around the country.
