I was talking to a friend this week about body image.

She said to me "I find it hard to reconcile within me that I'm 40 years old and still worry about whether I'm overweight and dealing with how that makes me feel".

Do you want to know what I said to her?

I said, "I get it. Me too. I've been there (I still spend time there occasionally!).
"The Work" begins inside of us. With connecting to our centre. With calming our anxious, frozen, activated, hypervigilant nervous systems.
This is the work of our lifetime. The only work that will make a true and lasting difference. All else stems from here.
