Happy NAIDOC Week! ❤️💛🖤

NAIDOC Week is a wonderful opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories. It's a time to not only honour and celebrate Indigenous achievements, but also elevate the voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The 2025 theme is "The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy" and celebrates the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week. It's a special week to honour the groundwork laid by Indigenous forebearers and uplift the voices of the next generation to carry the torch and shape the future.

Check out the NAIDOC website here 👉 www.naidoc.org.au for events in your area and to learn more about NAIDOC Week and the powerful history behind it.

Are you overwhelmed with worry lately? ⛈️

Often we can worry about important things like school, friends or family. Sometimes, worrying can help us focus and make good decisions in these areas.

But at other times, excessive worrying can become overwhelming, out of proportion to the situation and interfere with daily life.

If you feel that your worrying is becoming an issue and you need help understanding, you can chat to one of our helpful Youth Navigators. They can guide you to resources or appropriate services that can help. 💚

Call us on 1800 862 111 or send us a chat at mindmap.act.gov.au.

Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia.

Today we raise awareness about the discrimination and violence faced by the LGBTQIA+ community worldwide.

This day serves as a reminder of the importance of promoting inclusivity, understanding, and respect for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Whether through participating in events, sharing stories, or simply showing solidarity, each action contributes to a more inclusive and empathetic world.

At MindMap we stand with you.
