In June 2022, Safe Work Australia (SWA) announced a range of amendments to the model WHS laws, which is significant in terms of the prevention and management of psychosocial risk and hazards. A psychosocial hazard is anything that can cause psychological harm (SWA). This broad but accurate definition may overwhelm and deter organizations from revising their WHS strategy.
