Our wonderful resident Joan turned 100 this March — an incredible century of memories, wisdom, and life well lived. 💯💐

Joan’s big birthday was made even more memorable with congratulatory cards from the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia Ms Samantha Mostyn AC, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Their Majesties King Charles and Queen Camilla. 👑

Our residents recently enjoyed a delightful Easter-themed activity filled with creativity, colour, and plenty of smiles.
The activity featured Easter egg decorating and relaxing water painting. Residents carefully decorated their Easter eggs using a variety of materials, showcasing their creativity and individuality.
The water painting activity was equally popular, offering a calming and mess-free way to explore colours and patterns.
It was heartwarming to see everyone participating with such enthusiasm.

Pines Living was recently filled with laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful connection as we welcomed a group of students from Marist School for a special visit. The boys spent the afternoon engaging with residents over a variety of board games, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere.

This kind of intergenerational experience offers significant benefits for everyone involved.

We look forward to welcoming the Marist School boys again soon for another afternoon of fun and friendship.

Residents and our Lifestyle team recently enjoyed a wonderful day out, with a visit to the Bird Aviary in Gungahlin,

Following the aviary visit, the group headed to Federation Square for lunch, where they could relax and enjoy a pleasant lunch. This part of the outing provided a valuable opportunity for residents to connect socially, strengthening friendships and building a deeper sense of community.

We were there!!!

Thank you COTA for giving us the opportunity to showcase our home during the Seniors Expo yesterday, 24th of September. It was such It was such a wonderful chance to connect with the community, share what we do, and meet so many lovely people. We truly enjoyed the conversations and interest shown in our home.
