Winter Solstice Blessings & Merry Yuletide

As the Wheel of the Year turns, on Saturday 21st June 2025 we welcome in Yule or the Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere. It is the shortest day and the longest night of the year.

It is a time to embrace the darkness for reflection, gratitude, and setting intentions - your seeds to grow for the coming year. It is also a time to draw on your inner light and share your warmth and hopes with others.

I will be celebrating with my circle, lighting the Yule log from last year, burning messages to release old energy, tying wishes to the fig tree for the coming year, giving gifts, ringing bells, singing bowls, feasting and drinking mulled wine.

However you celebrate this Winter Solstice may it fill your heart with warmth and joy 🖤
