Many thanks to all the wonderful people who offered to give our woolly children a new home. Linda and I were overwhelmed by the sheer number of kind offers. Yesterday the alpacas moved into their new paddock on a beautiful property at Williamsdale. Our love and heartfelt thanks to all of you. Nils.

Just want everyone who reads this to know that you are not forgotten by me or the alpacas.
Each one of you has touched our lives with love at some moment in time and even if our paths never cross again, you are forever in our hearts.

This is my contribution to the debate concerning Geronimo the Alpaca. To put it simply, his accusers are basing their evidence on the outdated and false theories of Louis Pasteur who promoted the germ theory ie that germs are responsible for disease. All of us have germs and viruses residing in our bodies. However these entities will only become dangerous if we give them permission to do so. We do this by breathing polluted air and eating harmful foods. We drink heavily chemicalised water and fear and worry about the future dominate our lives. A man who lived at the same time as Pasteur, a man who many of you have probably never heard of, summed it up beautifully when he said " The microbe (germs, viruses is nothing. The terrain ( the natural health of the body) is everything." This man's name is Antoine Bechamp. If he were alive today, he would say that even if Geronimo does have a marker for bovine tuberculosis, it wouldn't be a threat to the alpaca or anyone else because he is in excellent health thanks to his wonderful carer. Whether you decide to subscribe to the theories of Pasteur or Bechamp, remember that health begins with you. You can either blame ill health on the germ/virus or take a moment to think ( as I am now doing) where have I gone wrong and what can I do to help my body become strong.

Having a problem with mice? Try burning incense. This has worked well for us whenever the little buggers have moved into the shed. Cost effective and smells good. Also won't hurt pets and wildlife.
Suggestion No.2
Mice seem to have an intense dislike for the smell of clove oil and peppermint oil. Try Indian grocery shops for clove oil. Kitchen King Grocers in Phillip has it. Health food stores for peppermint oil.

Thank you to our friends who recently donated funds to Alpaca Therapy via Facebook. Your generous actions were greatly appreciated.

However, as we have now ceased providing alpaca therapy services, and requested the Australian Charities and Not - for - Profits Commission to revoke the charity, we cannot draw on the funds collected.

We have kept the Alpaca Therapy page so we can post photos and news about the alpacas now on agistment.

We will contact Facebook and request that they refund your money.

Sincere thanks to Darrell CH and Mike Webb who have done a fantastic job of repairing the alpacas 6m by 6m shed at Wallaroo. The structure was in a dangerous state as a result of past termite attack and was considered to be a knock down rebuild, something that was just not financially possible for us. Fortunately for the alpacas, Darrell and Mike subscribe to the belief that " impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion " Muhammah Ali, champion boxer. With a generous donation of steel supports from Captains Flat resident Daniel le'Blanc, plus two days hard labour on their part, Darrell and Mike have provided the alpacas with a strong, safe all weather shelter, all at no cost. The great generosity of these three men moved me almost to tears.

Love to everyone from Willow and Paprika. We are growing taller but we will always be young girls at heart.
