As Cyclone Alfred approaches, we want to take a moment to remind our community to prioritise their wellbeing. Stay connected with loved ones, check in on each other, and make sure you have a plan in place.
Uncertainty can be overwhelming, so take a deep breath, stay informed through official channels, and reach out if you need support. We’re all in this together. 🫂
We also want to acknowledge our dedicated team of wellbeing professionals - whether you're supporting students through VIRB Student Wellbeing, working in OSHC/OOSH programs with Bricks 4 Kidz, providing counselling through CHATS, mentoring young people in our Education Hub, or caring for others as Animal Wellbeing Handlers through PATS. Please follow the advice and instructions from emergency services, and know that your wellbeing matters too. Our team and programs will continue to be here, supporting wellbeing across our communities throughout and after this concerning event.
