We’ve been lucky to watch her grow, learn, and support our clients with so much care and now we’re thrilled to see her continue that journey as an OT.

Mentors and Mentees: Are you an OT in community paediatric practice and have a desire to contribute to the professional development of paediatric therapists?

We are seeking OTs who providing mentoring, and OTs receiving mentoring, to participate in focus groups to review a draft evidence-based paediatric mentorship framework. Participating in this research will allow for revision of the framework to ensure it meets the current mentorship needs of therapists, and is relevant to current contexts.

If you would like to participate, we would welcome your input through an online focus group.
This will require 1 hour of your time. Olivia Jackson is conducting this study as a basis for completion of a PhD at the University of Sydney.

Week 2 and our final week of School Readiness Group at OT PAEDS 🎒✨

This week, we continued to focus on building essential school readiness skills while also growing confidence. Everyone did such an amazing job! 🌟

We can’t wait to hear all about the children smashing their goals in kindergarten this year. So proud of each and every one of them 💛👏

Week 1 of our OT Paeds Social Skills Group is done and dusted! 🎉🌈

Across Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, we made the most of the big grass area at the park next door to our Woolooware clinic 🌳☀️ while working on important social skills! The group practiced 🤝 turn taking, 🧠 working as a team, and 💪 building confidence in social settings through fun, movement-filled activities.

So amazing to see smiles, teamwork, and growing confidence all around! 🥰👏
 We can’t wait to keep the fun going next week! 💛✨

Week 1 of our OT Paeds School Readiness Group is officially complete! 🎉

Across Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday, our little learners worked hard on key school readiness skills including ✂️ cutting, 🎨 colouring, ✏️ drawing, ✍️ name tracing, ⏳ waiting, and 👫 turn taking. So much effort, focus, and growth in just one week!

We’re already looking forward to seeing everyone back for Week 2 💛📚

2025 has been such a big and successful year, filled with progress, achievements and lots of little wins along the way 💪🌈

📢 Important Clinic Update

You may have seen recent reports about asbestos being detected in some batches of kinetic sand. As always, the safety and well-being of the children and families who visit our clinic is our top priority. 💛

For this reason, we have removed all kinetic sand from our therapy spaces effective immediately.

We know kinetic sand is a much-loved sensory tool, and we’ll be replacing it with a range of safe, fun, and engaging alternatives to continue supporting sensory exploration and fine motor development.
