Immune-Boosting Kids’ Gummies 🌿🍓

Ingredients (makes ~20 gummies):
1 cup 100% fruit juice (orange, apple, or mixed berries) 🍊🍓
2 tbsp honey (for kids over 1 year) 🍯
2 tbsp powdered gelatin (or agar-agar for vegan option) 🌱
1 drop food-grade lemon essential oil 🍋
1 drop food-grade orange essential oil 🍊
Optional: 1 drop food-grade lavender essential oil 🌸 for calming

Instructions:
Pour juice into a small saucepan over low heat (do not boil).
Whisk in gelatin or agar until fully dissolved.
Remove from heat and stir in honey and essential oils.
Pour mixture into silicone molds 🍬.
Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours until set.
Pop out gummies and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

Tips & Safety:
Always use food-grade essential oils and 1 drop per batch—more can be too strong for children.

Never give essential oils directly—always dilute in food or carrier.

These gummies are a tasty complement, not a replacement for healthy food or medical care.

A newborn’s immune system is like a tiny army that’s still in training.
Here’s how it develops in the first 12 months:
0–6 Months
- Protected by antibodies passed from mum during pregnancy.
- Breastmilk (especially colostrum) provides extra immune boosters.
- Still more vulnerable to germs — handwashing and gentle exposure are key.

6–12 Months
- Maternal antibodies start to fade, and baby’s own immune system takes over.
- Each cough, sniffle, and minor bug helps “train” their defences.
- Balanced diet, good sleep, and a healthy gut all support strong immunity.

💡 Tip for Parents: Avoid antibiotics unless necessary — they can disrupt gut health, which plays a big role in immunity.

🌿 Support their immune system naturally:
