Too much sitting & inactivityโ€ฆ Quads, adductors, hip flexors & a little bit of active release on the Psoas to help lengthen, stretch & release. As I start the home stretch with my studies ๐Ÿ“š I will be commencing on site clinic blocks in Mitcham tomorrow until mid December. This means Iโ€™ve had to adjust appointment times to accomodate. My final clinic blocks will carry over into January due to the Xmas period, once I have these locked in I will provide a Jan availability update.

So many of you have been with me from the very beginning & I definitely donโ€™t feel like Iโ€™m finishing off this qualification alone ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ I am very grateful for your patience & support ๐Ÿซ  I CAN NOT wait to head into 2026 with you all, studies completed, a lot more structure back to my days & everything next year will bring for my little biz, and of course my clientsโ€ฆ Online booking system (finally) included ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

Conversations with my daughter today who is feeling slightly overwhelmed, managing all the things teenage life brings, made me think of a post I did a while back using this photo of her while we were on a hike.

I thought Iโ€™d repost as a little reminder to anyone whose nervous system is feeling a little dysregulated. If youโ€™re feeling stressed or overwhelmed ๐Ÿซคโ€ฆ pauseโ€ฆ take a moment for yourself, step back from what feels messy, close your eyes, place one hand over your heart, the other on your stomach & take a slow deep intentional breath in to the count of four, hold for four seconds and slowly release to the count of four, hold for four seconds & repeat as many times as you need to help calm the mind, relax the body & bring the parasympathetic nervous system back to a calmer more regulated state. Fill your lungs, cells & body with oxygen, imagine it pushing away & clearing the stuff that feels heavy for you on each exhale! ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿป

This kid, one of my favourite clients also my daughter ๐Ÿฅฐโ€ฆ That nervous giggle at the start, she knew what was coming ๐Ÿ˜ Doing some ART (Active Release) techniques through her forearm and quads (quads can be a sensitive one, refer slide two ๐Ÿ˜‚) & I did have her take some deep slow breaths to help calm the nervous system while we worked though some muscle congestion.

Competitive cheerleader, trains 9hrs a week, back into it last night, always rockinโ€™ some type of injury & always down for any type of bodywork treatment ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝโœจ
