My spiritual journey began very early in life when my older sister introduced me to the Tarot when I was 16. I was drawn to the practice from the beginning but my teenage years saw me ‘living the life’ socially and romantically, leaving Tarot and spirituality in the peripherals of my mind. I became a young mother, giving birth to a beautiful and healthy baby boy at the age of 18. It wasn’t long after my son was born that the relationship with his father ended, leaving me to work at life that little bit harder in order to make ends meet.I tried my hand at factory work which I detested. On one particular day I called to the universe, asking for guidance and a way out of the monotony of drilling holes into plastic! That afternoon, I rushed home to call the local TAFE to enrol into a course where I could pursue a career in Aged Care. A job that would see me fulfilling my passion of being of service to the community and individuals for the next 7 years. During this period, I was blessed again with the birth of my second born beautiful boy which saw me through another relationship which wasn't meant to be! The defining moment in my journey was the tragic loss of my dear sister. She not only left behind an abundance of memories but left behind her legacy: Her own Spiritual journey. A silver lining on one very, very dark cloud. In 2013, I was involved in a minor car accident which impacted my entire life in the biggest way. It wasn’t the shoulder injury that changed it all but the path that was laid out in front of me. The accident forced me to take some much needed time off work where I now had all of the time in the world to reflect on all areas of my life. Though I loved what I did in aged care, there was still a hollowness that led me to again ask for guidance from the Universe which led me to the epiphany that being a personal care attendant was only a stepping stone towards my true earth calling. I hope that you will invite me along on your journey.
