We are so proud of one our senior students, who competed in his very first State Combined Schools Athletics Competition – and did so under tough torrential rain conditions! 🌧️💪

His fantastic achievements:
🥈 Silver – Discus
🥉 Bronze – Shot Put
🎯 Finalist – Javelin
🏃‍♂️ Finalist – Long Jump

This was an incredible experience where he not only gave his best in every event, but also reconnected with friends from the regional competition, made new friendships with students from across NSW, and captured some great memories with teachers who were officiating on the day.

Thankyou to all of our amazing families who, so generously, donated to our Daffodil fundraising efforts. We are so humbled to announce that through your efforts we have raised a grand total of $1210.
These donations have been sent through to the Cancer Council to raise vital funds for research and care of those affected by this terrible disease.

We are seeking a young and enthusiastic person to join us as a Junior Administrative Assistant/Disability Support Assistant, working Saturdays 8.30-3pm and as required during the week 9.30am-2.30pm.
The role involves front-of-house duties including meeting/greeting clients, payments, phone duties and supporting group activities.

Next week, we will take a small break from our Book Week Celebrations to raise some valuable funds for The Cancer Council. We will be running a Cake Stall on Wednesday morning the 20th August. The baked goods will be unspeakably delicious, and made with love. We will also be selling gorgeous fresh Daffodils, and currently, we have the "Wall of Hope", and the Lolly Jar guessing competition for a gold coin donation.

Children's Book Week 2025 is next week - Monday, August 18 to Saturday, August 23 at The Hills Learning Centre. The theme for the week is "Book an Adventure". This year also marks the 80th anniversary of Children's Book Week. The Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA) organizes the event annually to celebrate Australian children's books, authors, and illustrators. So dress as your favorite book character and we will explore the wonders of books together!

Next week we will be holding a Denim Week to fundraise as part of the Jeans for Genes Day initiative which raises money for the Children's Medical Research Institute to help find a cure for children's genetic diseases!

Hi all, this year we will be raising money for the Cancer Council's Daffodil Day! Please help us in our fundraising efforts by donating and providing hope for a cancer free future, not only for those impacted by cancer, but for all Australians.

We will be having a cake stall on Wednesday 20 August and selling fresh daffodils - our goal is to raise $1000.

Please help us reach this goal by donating via the link below, contributing some baked goods or buying some wonderful cakes or daffodils.
