Why wellbeing education matters more than ever.

In today’s world, young people are facing increasing pressure from social media, body image concerns, friendship challenges and stress. As a result, building emotional awareness, resilience, confidence and self-worth has never been more important.

At Well Education, we believe that when young people truly understand their value, they are more likely to make healthy choices, build positive relationships and thrive.

Our latest blog explores why prevention and early intervention matter, and why self-worth is at the heart of lasting wellbeing.

Mel Robbin’s says it best 🙌

Not everything deserves your energy. Take a moment, breathe, and decide what’s actually worth your attention.

You get to make that choice ❤️
You are the only one controlling your thoughts ❤️

How many emotions can you name in 60 seconds? ⏱️

In our Top Chicks program, we challenged participants to do exactly that… and wow—it’s harder than you think.

Most people start with the obvious: happy, sad, angry.
But very quickly… they get stuck.

Because the truth is, we don’t just feel a handful of emotions—we experience a huge range, many of them layered and hidden beneath the surface.

Frustration might actually be disappointment.
Anger might be masking hurt.
“I’m fine” might be overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure.

👉 And here’s why this matters:
We can only process what we can name.

Building emotional awareness is the first step to emotional intelligence.
It’s how we begin to understand ourselves, respond (instead of react), and navigate life in a healthier, more empowered way.

So next time you’re feeling something… pause and ask:
What am I really feeling right now?

You might be surprised by what you uncover 💭

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums, grandmothers, carers and mother figures in our community 💐

Today we celebrate the love, patience, strength and endless support you give each and every day. Thank you for the countless lunches packed, homework helped with, cuddles given, early mornings, late nights and everything in between.

At Well Education, we see the important role you play in helping children grow, learn and thrive, and we appreciate all that you do.

Wishing you a day filled with love, laughter and a little bit of well-deserved relaxation 💖

We’re so excited to also officially introduce Maddie, who has been part of our Well Education holiday workshops over the past few school holidays — and we absolutely love having her on the team 💙

Maddie is a primary school teacher who brings a beautiful blend of warmth, creativity, and energy into every space she steps into. With a passion for dance and a talent for all things crafty, she creates engaging, hands-on experiences that our girls absolutely thrive in.

Her ability to connect, inspire, and bring learning to life makes her such a valuable part of our programs — and we feel very lucky to have her on board.

Welcome, Maddie — we’re so glad you’re here 💫

We’re so excited to welcome Paris to the Well Education team ✨

Paris jumped straight into our Well-I-AM programs last week, supporting sessions at Belmont Public School and Marks Point Public School—and it already feels like she’s been part of the team for ages.

She brings a valuable skill set, a calm and engaging presence, and the kind of warmth that helps create the safe, supportive spaces we’re so passionate about.
We’re so looking forward to seeing her grow and shine in this role, and to all the opportunities ahead as we continue to expand our impact.
Welcome to the team, Paris 💛

Some days aren’t about being perfect or doing it all — they’re about showing up and giving it your best.

Even the small wins count, and sometimes that effort is more than enough. 💛

Today, we remember.

This ANZAC Day, we honour the bravery, sacrifice, and service of all who have served and continue to serve our nation. We are proud to work alongside the remarkable service women and men of the Royal Australian Air Force and across the wider Australian Defence Force.

Their dedication, courage, and commitment embody the values of mateship, resilience, and respect that define the ANZAC spirit.

Lest we forget.
