Why does such a small mouth sore hurt so much 😣
That tiny white spot in your mouth can feel huge and painful when you eat, drink, or even talk.
It is often a canker sore, also called an aphthous ulcer, and many people get them without knowing why.
They can be triggered by things like stress, accidentally biting your cheek, spicy or acidic foods, low vitamin levels, hormonal changes, or even certain toothpaste ingredients.
The good news is most heal on their own within 1 to 2 weeks.
To help it feel better faster, try simple steps like rinsing with warm saltwater, avoiding irritating foods, using a numbing gel, and getting enough rest.
If it keeps coming back, gets very large, or lasts more than a few weeks, it is a good idea to get it checked.
Your mouth can tell you a lot about your overall health, so do not ignore it.
