Flexion traction for the spine is a gentle therapeutic technique used to alleviate back pain and improve spinal function. This method involves gently stretching and decompressing while going through slow movement in the spinal column to relieve pressure on the intervertebral discs and nerve roots. This treatment is an alternative option to manipulation to help back and neck dysfunction.
