I am so incredibly grateful to have received a scholarship from to participate in her upcoming Level 1 Yin Yoga teacher training. Leonie’s amazing work towards making the tools of yoga available to those who may benefit the most from the practice, but have the least access, speaks to her great generosity and integrity as a teacher. I cannot wait to start the training and share learnings with the community ❤️ Thank you Leonie! ❤️

SCHOLARSHIP WINNER - Level 1 Yin Yoga Teacher Training
Meet Cassidy from .
I'm absolutely delighted to have Cassidy join us on this upcoming teacher training. With a background in disability advocacy and support, Australian Indigenous studies, languages other than English AND trauma informed yoga through , Cassidy will bring her diverse skills and opinions to the discussions we'll be having throughout the training.
She volunteers through delivering yoga programs as part of Orygen's Youth Mental Health program.
The current Royal Commission in to the state of mental health service delivery in Victoria is currently underway and well overdue. Early intervention programs such as Orygen's play a huge role in equipping young people with skills and resources to actively participate in the managment of their health. Let's hope that Royal Commission recommends an increase, and creative application of early intervention programs when it releases it's report.
It's heartbreaking to read on website that there are 3 million Australians living with anxiety and depression. From my personal experience I know that yoga has helped me enormously in dealing with episodes of these throughout my lifetime.
