The Single Leg Wall Sit Calf Raise targets the quadriceps isometrically while the soleus muscle is loaded through its range.

If you enjoy running, make sure you incorporate some bent-knee calf work, as the soleus generates up to three times more force when running compared to your gastrocnemius muscle.

This one’s all about control, balance, and strength — a great way to challenge your lower body while improving single-leg stability.

Key cues:
Keep your knee tracking over your toes
Lightly touch the box — don’t rest or collapse
Control the movement both down and up
Engage through your glutes and core for balance
