We are pleased to be offering 10 new DanceMoves classes across the District.

DanceMoves is a 45 minute class where you can listen to your favourite music while working on your strength, coordination, flexibility and balance.

Come and dance along! You don't need to have any previous experience. Whether you are sitting or standing in the class, everyone is a dancer!

Classes are being held at Coolamon, Corowa, Harden, Junee, Lockhart, Tumut, Ungarie, Weethalle and Wagga Wagga.

Today John Crothers presented the NSW health petition—signed by over 1,400 members of our community—to Justin Clancy MP.

This petition calls for urgent and appropriate investment in our regional hospitals, including Corowa, and support for a fully funded hospital solution for Albury Wodonga in line with the 2021 Clinical Services Plan.

Thank you to everyone who signed and stood up for healthcare in our region. We will continue to advocate for the investment our community deserves. 💙

BREAKING NEWS

The Special Commission of Inquiry into Healthcare Funding in NSW has just released its findings.

Albury Wodonga Health has a whole chapter devoted to the shambles that we are being bulldozed into. This validates the concerns of our community - see Chapter 17 in the attached link.

We will wait for the media to provide commentary first before we do.

Don't let that stop you from having a look at Chapter 17 though, and providing your thoughts in the comments.

I am a resident of and one of 2 000+ people who signed the recent CRW Health Action Group petitions.
 My family has experienced the impact on our local health services, including long ED waits and elective surgery deferrals.
 We need our Corowa Hospital upgraded now and a fully funded hospital for AWH, preferably a single site regional hospital that aligns to the 2021 Clinical Services Plan.
I understand the petitions are being delivered to your office in the coming weeks.

Could you please confirm:
1. That you will table the petitions in Parliament;
2. What response you will seek from the Health Minister regarding:
a. An additional capital allocation for the AWH Hospital; and
b. Immediate funding for Corowa & Urana upgrades.
