Wondering where we’ve been? Alex and I have taken some time away from MLT to focus on our own lil family tribes. We have almost finished our home reno, my lil man is super excited to be starting school next year, and my baby is going to be in her last year of preschool 😳
There’s been lots of exciting things happening behind the scenes! We are also looking for a new venue for MLT 2023 so that we can continue to support women on their journey into motherhood. And we’re certainly due for a mum’s night out 🥂

Women Supporting women is what we’re all about: Meet beautiful Tara. A local energy healer with a passion for women’s health ~ the creator and soul behind Clarity + Co Crystals

Being surrounded by loss & grief growing up, to then struggling with infertility, navigating through IVF, stillbirth, loss, so much heart ache and self healing - to now being in her third trimester with her sweet baby girl and bringing light and energy into the life of everyone she touches. Tara’s passion grew strongly and naturally into supporting women through Shifting Mindsets, Spiritual Practices, Reiki Healing, Crystals and Sound Healing.
Tara’s sessions will leave you feeling as though she’s touched your soul and shifted you in a positive direction.

This has never resonated with us more than since becoming mums ourselves 🤍
We both wear so many hats each and every day! And with this in mind, we are pushing back the start of our next term until we have taken the time to fill our own cups, so that we may continue to provide the absolute best service out there for new mums!
We will be busy behind the scenes, working on our business model, upgrading resources, and collaborating with like minded women to join our amazing list of guest presenters.

The fourth trimester: I don’t remember much of it, but I know that I was utterly exhausted and often running on empty, while also being filled with so much love and joy. It’s a crazy roller coaster of emotions this motherhood ride. From colic, to reflux, sleepless nights, an inability to breast feed, day naps where they’d only sleep on me, the house was a disaster, I hadn’t showered or eaten (but they had), washing everywhere, dirty dishes, my clothes stained with milk, vomit and dribble. I literally didn’t recognise this person in the mirror. And just because I found it extremely challenging at times (still do!) doesn’t mean I’m not grateful. I am grateful everyday 🤍 There’s so much support and emphasis on newborn check ups and check ins, but what about the mother who has also just been born? Mother’s too need so much support and love, and not just in the first week postpartum. We are constantly learning, growing and evolving, so to are our kids and the challenges we face. The juggle and struggle is real each and everyday, but so too is the love and laughter. And it really does fly by, they are only small for such a short period of time... even though the days and nights often feel never ending. So build your tribe mummas, and soak it all in. Because you were never meant to have to do it alone ### Kara

What a session 🤍
Courtney brought so much positive energy and passion as she shared her knowledge and personal experiences of Matrescence. We then delved into a deep and beautiful sharing session where everyone was able to connect, open up and share their own experiences of the ever changing journey of motherhood and the development and growth of the mother herself. These sessions literally warm our hearts and bring us so much joy to know that our business model of creating a safe space for mums to be open, raw, honest and vulnerable has been achieved. We laughed, cried, reflected and built each other up. Never feel like you’re alone mumma, it takes one hell of a tribe and we’re here to help you to build yours! We can’t wait to have Courtney back again on Friday.

Running a small business in the middle of a pandemic isn’t easy for anyone! Yes there are going to be set backs (including Tuesdays first session being pushed back due to isolation 😩) but we are being as open minded and flexible as we can be given these crazy times.
We are so grateful to be able to run our sessions and support as many mums as possible, all the while following the guidelines which have been put in place. If ever there was a time for mums to build a strong support network, it’s now!! Because god knows we need to get out of the house 🙃 ### Kara
