If you have a young person who struggles returning
back to school, now is the time to implement some strategies to ease the transition. Here are some tips to try:
*Slowly ease kids back into a regular sleep routine at least a week BEFORE school starts
*have uniforms, books & essentials organised before school returns to eliminate worry
*start talking about returning to school & identify any concerns your child may have
*when starting a new school it can help to do a few laps of the school grounds if possible, for those extra nervous kids
*keep the week / weekend before returning low key to reduce over stimulation
*reach out to your school for support if you forsee issues with your child returning
