My Morning's musings
Don't ignore the whispers from within your body and soul, the aches, the emotions, they will get louder the more they are ignored. Drop into the discomfort of that pain or emotion, acknowledge it and ask it what it wants, how does it make you feel, what's not being addressed. Mostly, the answer will be self love, self acceptance, self respect, a memory of when you were ignored or not important. When these hints arrive, it often comes from a wound, a memory that was suppressed, not safe to be expressed or heard. We can simply be present with that pain, feel into it, send love to that part of self that experienced that wound and give compassion and understanding, something that wasn't given at the time of the event. Notice as the energy subsides as love is sent there.
Make your needs a priority. This was my need this morning, sun on my face, looking out to sea.
