This quote resonates deeply with me, reminding me of my own journey from a place of comfort to embracing change's transformative power. I used to find peace in predictability and familiarity, hesitating at the simple thought of change's discomfort. The idea of leaving my comfort zone seemed daunting, and I was resistant to the unknown.

But life has its way of gently nudging us toward growth. I've come to realise that change is not a disruption but an opportunity. Just like a river that navigates obstacles and changes course, I've started to challenge my perspective. Instead of fearing change, I now see it as a chance to learn, evolve, and expand.

Embracing change has been a journey. I'm learning to sit with its discomfort, understanding that it's in these moments that growth thrives. Change teaches us resilience and adaptability, qualities that enrich our lives in ways we could never anticipate.

In a world that often expects perfection, I've personally dealth with the constant desire for everything to be “perfect.” I've come to realize that true growth and fulfillment lie in embracing progress and letting go of the need for perfection. Here are three valuable insights I've learned along the way:

1️⃣ Embrace Imperfection: Releasing the need for perfection is liberating. It's okay to make mistakes and face challenges. In fact, these experiences are essential for growth and learning. Embrace them as valuable lessons that shape your journey toward progress.

2️⃣ Set Realistic Goals: Instead of striving for an unattainable standard, set realistic and achievable goals. Break them down into smaller, micro goals. Celebrate each milestone you reach along the way. By focusing on progress, you'll experience a sense of accomplishment that fuels your motivation and confidence.

Healing is not a fixed destination, but rather an ongoing commitment to honour our growth, embrace the lessons we encounter, and continuously evolve into the fullest expression of our true selves.

It’s important to remember that the path is not always smooth and it’s certainly not an easy one. As we embrace this truth, we empower ourselves with the knowledge that healing is not a linear process, but a transformative adventure filled with ups and downs.

I've personally faced the challenging task of recognising and breaking free from unhealthy patterns I've created. I've come to understand how my own unhealed trauma led me to project my pain onto others, inadvertently enabling a cycle of self-inflicted suffering. It’s never easy to acknowledge, accept and change these patterns, but with courage and self-reflection, we can all take steps towards healing, reclaiming our power, and finding compassion for ourselves and others.

As we embark on this journey, we come to realize the beauty that lies in accepting the natural ebb and flow of life. It is through the challenging moments that we find the strength to rise once more, embracing our innate resilience and uncovering deeper layers of authenticity.

As I share this post, I invite you, to witness and embrace your own imperfections, moments of vulnerability, and the growth that unfolds within you.

Hello everyone! It's time for a heartfelt reintroduction and an update on the transformative journey I've been on over the past 1.5 years.

• Firstly, I've had the incredible privilege of embracing a nomadic lifestyle, embarking on short trips around the stunning landscapes of Australia in my caravan. The freedom and connection to nature have been truly soul-nourishing.

• I've also been diving deep into my inner world, healing old beliefs and conditionings that no longer resonated with my evolving self. It has been a liberating process, allowing me to shed layers and step into a truer version of myself.

• I’ve learnt to let go of my old identity, the limitations of who I thought I was. I've embraced the truth that we are constantly changing and evolving beings. Every day, I welcome and celebrate the new versions of myself, allowing curiosity to guide me without judgment.

• I made the empowering decision to quit alcohol. I am now celebrating 5 months of sobriety, and let me tell you, it has been an incredible and transformative experience. Sobriety has brought clarity, vibrancy, and a profound love for life that I didn't know was possible.

• I've deepened my connection with my sacred womb space through the beautiful art of belly dancing. This practice has opened up new channels of self-expression, sensuality, and self-love, allowing me to tap into the divine feminine energy within.

Now, here I am, at a stage in my life where I feel a profound sense of peace. I've made peace with my past, with every experience that has shaped me. I trust in the path that lies ahead, knowing that I am capable of embracing whatever comes my way with grace and resilience.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. I am grateful for your presence, support, and love.

I was sick and tired of being misunderstood.

This was the reason for my over explaining and frustration when people would make assumptions about me.

Because of this, I used to doubt myself and believed them.

I gave my power away and allowed people’s opinions of me to override my own opinion of myself.

There was no one to blame, but me. 🥲

Since working on my self-worth, through acts of self-love and self-care, I have finally released the need to be understood and made peace with it.

Not everyone will understand you.

In fact, most people won’t.

People only understand from their level of perception.

And that’s OKAY. 🤙🏼

You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone and NEVER allow yourself to be defined by another person’s opinion of you.

Only you will know your truth and where your intention + intergrity lies - that’s the only thing that matters.

At the end of the day, the only opinion that should matter is the one you have about yourself.

So let’s take your power back and go out into this magnificent world and:

✨ Do YOU.
✨ Live for YOU.
