And here I am.
Feet landed back on Northern soil.
The warm damp air of the Territory welcomes me home again. I really feel the fluid & watery Wet Season energy as soft and nurturing right now. A gentle embrace and reminder to let it all flow with natural rhythm… no push.

I’m looking forward to offering workshops coming up including sacred women’s space and igniting your spirit.

Though just for this moment I’m enjoying bare feet, evening frog chorus, rolling big clouds and lush green palms.

Hey again! Yup I’m back again already… did you notice? I’ve changed my business name.

VIBRANT LIFE ~ is something I’m always working to embody, and embrace. It is my life’s work. Vibrant Life encompasses my integration of modalities that assist you being in whole health in your body and mind.

Counselling, Somatics & Somatic EMDR, Yoga practice & philosophy, Breathwork and Meditation tools, Kinesiology & emotional energetic clearings.

My 1 on 1 sessions and group workshops assist you building presence with yourself, awakened senses, self compassion and insight, a deeper relationship with your body, heart, mind and soul.. and a sense that you are supported, and belong- both in your body, and in this moment.

Hi friends,
It’s been a minute since I’ve tapped in here to say ~ anything..! I’ve been focusing on being a mum, being present in my world with a rapidly developing little person & spending time away from screens. He’s been my daily reminder to stay present & open to the joys and wonders of life, and motherhood is my marathon meditation and self insight drug. It’s been a wild ride.
During my pregnancy I had a vision of a woman surfacing out of the earth. A raw, dirty, skeletal and almost demonic woman, being reborn. Crawling, prying her way out of the earth. She was fire, she was earth, she was all power and absolutely no fear. This has been my process, to shed the maiden and move into mother. It’s a transformation beyond words and pretty pictures.. it’s visceral, guttural and bone deep.

I’ve been lucky & privileged enough to prioritise this transition with ownership and grace, with time and ease. I’ve been with my family and prioritising the safety of love, open communication and compassion as a foundation of where we move from. If you’re open to growth and self work then parenting is a lightening strike, one way ticket ~ if you’re willing to jump on. And so we have.

Hi…! Yes I’m here. It’s just been awhile.

Mum life has taken my focus in the best possible was as I make the most of being present with my son & taking my attention away from social media.

I did however want to jump on and let you know two things. I’m currently studying Somatic EMDR with & loving the content, facilitators and can’t wait to offer this as part of my toolkit. Along side this I am also taking private clients again (online only atm), so please DM me if you’re interested to book in.

Sometimes we just need a breath of fresh air, change of scenery or to connect back in… with community, nature and our source (whatever that is for you).

⭐️ Post Yoga Feels. ⭐️

I will never get tired of this feeling right here ~ spacious, quiet, open, limitless, being with all that is… so present in the unlimited field of love.
Beyond the mind and it’s chatter, beyond the body’s kept & stuck energies or emotions.

A big reason for me offering my new upcoming workshop REFRESH & REVIVE is because I’m shifting out of a long postpartum stage. My son has only just started sleeping in longer stints through the night Talk to any mum & they will tell you this is huge! Sleep is huge! I have been getting rest & am coming back into me slowly. Postpartum is so much longer than 6 weeks- I find myself at 15 months still working on recovery & rehabilitation. It’s been a deep journey of surrender & mindful living. But in my steps to rebuild I have also grown so much.

It’s through our moments of disconnection from self (or what we know of ourselves) and increased stress that we can learn to build resilience and deep inner strength. We may find a new version of ourselves waiting for us too.

But it also in times where we finally come out the other side that we can let go and sink into the heart of our learnings, our gratitude, perspective and wisdom of what those hardships have give us.

I invite you to join me for the REFRESH & REVIVE workshop if you’re feeling the need to regain inspiration, reignite your creative spark, or foster a feeling of connection with self.

Thank you to everyone that joined me yesterday for my first workshop back as a mumma..!

I so enjoyed offering a space for us to go into self exploration and compassion & move our bodies out of stuck spaces into open receptive peace.

Sometimes the world can feel turbulent around us, sometimes it can feel turbulent within… sometimes we get caught in waves that feel so big we can’t find an anchor anymore… and when things finally settle, we wonder~ how did I even end up here??

Maybe you’ve felt like this?? Making plans & holding on so tightly to them that no other option is safe, feeling desperate for control of outcomes, or constantly feeling out of control for a changing environment around you? Anxiety, fear, depression, anger, exhaustion, freeze and shock can all play a part.

We can work on feeling safe within. We can shift through change and maintain stability and integrity.

We’ll be meditating & moving our bodies to create space around these feelings of control/loss of control and allow peace to flow in.

*Long Post!*
Changing isn’t always easy. It can be heavily influenced by our attachments to existing things like people, places, our identity, addictions, pain and or distractions we use to possibly disconnect from feeling..

Changing can be scary because on many levels it means becoming new again, becoming a new identity and being vulnerable enough to step into something with trust.. that you will be ok, you will be safe.

Ultimately this often comes down to our relationship with ourselves. Can we trust ourself to show up when we feel vulnerable, to feel stable & strong within our centre - so we can feel whole, even if external references fall away…

In yogic practice we sit with this concept often, to meditate on our inner relationship, especially with an open expanded self- that connects with all, with universal energy. It allows us to gradually drop our attachments to roles, masks and external identities. So we can feel safe with who we are, right now.

Ooof!! Big statements huh..? Yes. It takes work. It takes practice, but it does work.

As I reflect on the last year of becoming a parent & undertaking the huge task of releasing my old identity & giving myself over to this new way. It hasn’t been easy, at all. But, my meditation and reflection practice has kept me held to the knowledge that I am safe with a moving landscape. I am in tune with my centre. I have my practice to thank for that.

What helps you come into the present moment? To come out of negative loops playing in your mind? Or running through habitual playlists of if’s, buts, excuses and fear based thinking?

For me it’s being in nature that pulls me back into NOW. Any practice that really slows us down, helps the nervous system and therefore our thinking to also slow. It particularly helps us focus in on what’s here for us right now. Rather than what happened in the past, what we’re concerned for in the future etc.

Allowing change to feel fluid is part of being in this moment, being present with what’s required for right now, rather than reacting on past patterns of fear, or habits based in perceptions which aren’t actually relevant.

We’ll be discussing developing presence, peace and acceptance of the moment in my upcoming workshop Smooth Transitions Aug 19.

And it’s time for me to come out of the matrescence bubble.
My new workshop offering is coming up in August at Salt Yoga- Christie’s Beach. I’m so looking forward to sharing space with you if you choose to come along. It will be a lovely afternoon of reflection, gentle movement, meditation and sound healing to assist with clearing the way for us to move smoothly through times of change & upheaval.

Utilise yoga & meditation techniques to dissolve fear blocks that can hinder smooth transitions and transformation. We will explore reflective practice, journal writing, as well as movement, meditation, mantra and deep sound healing to help soothe the nervous system. This is a workshop to help develop presence, a deeper sense of self-awareness, and the ability to navigate change with greater ease.
