What to Expect After a Bowen Therapy Session
Many people are surprised by how they feel after Bowen Therapy.
Calmer, slower, more grounded.
This happens because Bowen gently encourages the nervous system to switch out of “fight or flight” and into rest and repair.
After a session, you might notice:
• A deep sense of relaxation
• Feeling tired and needing to rest
• Improved sleep
• Emotional release
• Changes that unfold over the next few days
Bowen doesn’t force the body to change, but it gives it the space to do what it already knows how to do. If you’ve been pushing through pain, stress, or tension for a long time, that pause can feel unfamiliar and it’s often exactly what your body has been asking for.
