Say Hello to SilVR Fit!

Weโ€™re incredibly excited to share something new weโ€™ve been trialling across our Group Services and Therapy teams: SilVR Fit. An immersive virtual-reality experience designed to support physical activity, confidence, and meaningful engagement in a way that feels fun, motivating and completely different from traditional exercise.

๐Ÿ’ก What is SilVR Fit?
SilVR Fit uses adapted pedals or paddles connected to a VR headset, allowing participants to cycle or kayak through beautiful lakes, forests, coastlines and villages, all in full 360ยฐ virtual reality. It feels like travelling, exploring and discovering - not exercise.

Backed by ongoing research with Deakin University and the Singapore University of Social Sciences, SilVR Fit has shown strong outcomes in mood, engagement, physical activity and social interaction.

At Onemda, weโ€™re always looking for clever, creative ways to help participants build skills, confidence and independence. SilVR Adventures Fit lets us do exactly that!
