Maccabi All Abilities Pickleball a Real Hit! 🏓✨
Over 20 enthusiastic players joined our sold-out event on Sunday for an unforgettable afternoon of coaching, skill-building, games, and great company. The energy was electric and the smiles said it all - a truly fun and active social day out for everyone involved!

Maccabi All Abilities: More Than a Wheelchair – Teaching Strength, Pride and Belonging

It was a privilege to organise a Wheelchair Sports Experience with Preschool and Bay Primary. This special event was inspired by a young boy whose father lives with MS and uses a wheelchair.

Our goal was to create a supportive environment that would help the child feel proud of his father, and to gently address the feelings of embarrassment he was experiencing.

Through the power of inclusive sport, we opened up important conversations and helped children of all ages see that a wheelchair is simply a different way of moving through the world.

Most importantly, the day highlighted that living with a disability does not diminish a person’s strength, resilience, or their ability to participate fully and meaningfully in the community.
