Being able to hang require grip strength, shoulder range & stability
 the list goes on

Not only do we use it as a tool to progress shoulder abilities, it’s also a great measure of success for those we are working on being able@to hang.

But why do you want to hanging in the first place?
- beat osteoporosis- loads the ribs & upper body really well
- #1 determinate to independence as we age is grip strength
- foundation for building strong shoulders for muscle which makes us harder to kill

Crude? Nah.
Effective? Every. Single Time.

We can talk hip hinge, pelvic tilt, spinal mechanics


Or we can say:
Point your bumhole to the floor.

If reaching or lifting overhead, pushing things, or just general painful use of shoulders usually isn’t a strength issue but a timing issue.

When the shoulder, ribs, and trunk don’t sequence properly, the load gets dumped into the neck, upper ribs, or shoulder joint - this sucks!

We use simple recalibration exercises retrain how we use our shoulders. This is how we protect shoulders and keep people training as they age.

At 40+ we’re not in a hurry, speed kills (or rather - causes injury), we train for the long game
