Welcome to Thrive Out West.

My name is Michelle and I am the founder of this Dubbo based service. Allow me to share a bit about myself and the journey that led me here. My roots lie in the beautiful but mainly dry landscapes of the Central West, where I grew up on a sheep and cropping based farm. After high school, I set off to Dubbo to pursue my university education. Little did I know that this new chapter would bring lifel

ong friendships and precious moments. It was in Dubbo that I met my best friend. Together, we embarked on the adventure of raising two wonderful children. The eldest a champion sleeper, while the other seemed to defy the concept of sleep altogether. Our family was completed by two furry companions: Bentley, our mischievous cat, and Kenny Kesney, our loyal Kelpie dog. While I cherish my privacy, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life. The gym for self care. Camping trips and BBQ’s with friends bring me immense happiness. I am a firm believer in the power of digital detox, self-care, and minimalism, seeking balance in an increasingly busy world. As a mother, I strive to be organized, ensuring that my family's needs are met while nurturing their growth. Although often the children arrive to school with a minute to spare! My professional journey began in the field of youth work, where I had the privilege of supporting and empowering young individuals. It was an immensely fulfilling experience, but my path eventually led me to the health sector. There, I discovered my true passion for making a difference in people's lives, during a time which was often their most traumatic. Witnessing the positive impact I could have on individuals and communities inspired me to establish Thrive Out West.

OMG! This guy jumped in the hire car in Broken Hill today. (I was a little nervous getting out of the car… turned my back for a second and he had jumped through from the drivers seat) He was very keen to stay. He needs a good meal and some love. I hope his owner finds him. 🐕
Does he look scary?

Awesome trainers, great people, good vibes. And nothing like low bone density to drive me to classes! 😜

Happy Business Anniversary to me. After 2 years of serving our incredible community from Broken Hill to Wellington as a solo practitioner, I’m humbled to reach this milestone moment.

This small business adventure has given me the flexibility to be there for my little family while connecting with so many amazing folks across our region.

And let’s be honest - after all those road trips across Western NSW, I’ve become something of an expert on clean public toilet facilities (or the surprising lack thereof! 😅). Some journeys require more... strategic planning than others!

Happy Business Birthday to me. And thanks again to for making me look 2 years younger. 🤣

A gift from a client who is Indigenous this week. Art Course I helped enrol them in last year. Love the colours.
