Whilst another year draws to a close it wasn’t without its ups and downs. Along with the normal farming works and repairs that go with it I was given the opportunity to take on a fairly large project (even requiring the use of a 150t crane😱). With all the hard work came a well deserved break so Mel packed up the family (I was way too busy😂) and we set sail from Los Angeles and ventured north to the pristine waters of Alaska, if you ever get the chance to go, just go. On return we whizzed our way out to vegas and the canyon for a gander, plenty of rocks and desert😒. Once returning home the workload kicked off where I left it and I got to learn a lot about springs, not my strongest point but we got there in the end. To really throw a spanner in the works our amazing Makenzie managed to make the Australian karate team which had to travel and compete in Ireland. Although no gold the experience will live with her for ever and all this a week before our cruise it became a break we all needed. Then for Lachlan to have a major corrective surgery to his leg Mel was under the pump again running around more than normal, mums are super material!! Having made some new clients and more so friends along the way 2017 has been a blast and all we can wish for is that 2018 can match it.

Funny, I left school 19 years ago and low and behold my geometry skills haven't slipped a bit, current job, truncate pipe into a conical silo one end, square chute the other with about a 38 degree mitre, "Houston, we have a problem!"

Got into some nice little fabrication over the last couple of days, repaired a cage for a box trailer then today got stuck into building a tool room for our farm shed. Couple more brackets to hang then on goes the iron!!👍🏻
