This is my prayer…..a day when all of us can just be!

On one hand you have the Walk for Peace with the monks and Aloka, the Peace dog ,spreading peace and love across the US. An extraordinary trek with people coming out in droves to be part of it. In all the videos and posts I can see the impact the monks are having on those attending… the peace and love is infectious

On the other hand you have ICE causing havoc in many US states.
The US is in chaos and looking in I’m astounded at turmoil Trump has created
Every person has the right to stay safe and not be harassed, detained or threatened by these ICE agents that hide behind masks. Come on enough is enough..

A strong message for all of us… stay with your truth, stay with your limits, be true to you !!!! Most of all don’t push ...

Hi. I’ve been following the March for Peace taking place in the USA. The Buddhist monks below accompanied by Aloka the Peace Dog are walking 2,500 MILES across the country. One of the monks is 70 and another is 68! This has captivated me as they spread peace in every community they pass through. The crowds coming out are incredible and even just watching their journey is giving me such a sense of peace and reminding me of the need to be mindful of my thoughts and, of course, my actions. You can follow their journey on Facebook, so, if you are in the mood for some feel good viewing I suggest you take a look. Even though I am so far away I feel the energy and the positivity these amazing men exude. As for Aloka he is adorable, keeping up with them for the most part and becoming quite the celebrity in the process.

Unfortunately there was an accident resulting in one monk having his leg amputated …consequently he had to pull out…and another being injured…he has now recovered and returned.
The strength of these monks is truly inspiring

For the chaos that is happening in the USA this is sending such a strong message.

On this the third day of 2026 I thought I would share some interesting facts about what 2026 means in terms of numerology and as far as the Chinese zodiac is concerned. Both these areas indicate an interesting year ahead. Both are strong and positive so in combination indicate a much more positive year ahead.

Numerology
The numerology of 2026 indicates it’s a year 1 year.
It promises to bring dramatic shifts for the better. In numerology 1 is associated with new beginnings and the cycle turning towards possibility.
As a collective we mat feel called upon to take action and bring this new world into being.
Individually we will feel empowered to express ourselves as fully as possible.
The 1 year phase that has now commenced is a year in which we are becoming who we are meant to be. This is not the time to hold back. In fact, we will feel compelled to express our unique thoughts and visions to each other freely.
In a sense, this year 1 year is a chance to rebirth or restart our lives.

Hi everyone

I often post Japanese sayings and tonight I thought I’d give you a brief explanation….

My daughter is part Japanese…and Japanese culture has figured greatly in my life since I met my ex- husband as a young 10year girl….. we spent 32 years in each others lives, 21 years of those married. I have visited Japan a number of times and for me Japan is my spiritual home. I feel a great affinity with all things Japanese …in fact all things Asian. Eastern philosophy talks to my soul .

My daughter's father passed in April 2025 and in March she will be travelling to Japan with his sister to take some of his ashes to his Japanese family , as tradition dictates. Later this year, my health allowing it, my daughter and I are intending to visit Japan together to visit his family and many other friends.
