What a weekend! So grateful to everyone who came together to celebrate our 30+ year birthday conference - such an inspiring, joy-filled few days in East Melbourne.Big thanks to all who joined us especially so many from interstate and those who couldn't for sending such beautiful messages.
It's all about the people and we take this opportunity to thank all those who have been an integral part of our journey especially our co-founders- Neil Vallance, Malcolm Baxter & Jenni Oates; our wonderful former speech pathologists- Rhonda Holmes, Lucy Cleeve, Miriam Voortman, Sally Armstrong , Claire Stanley, Kate Watson, and of course Nicole Free for sharing nearly 1/2 the time of our existence; our prior ENT specialists Sherryl Wagstaff, Amanda Richards and Charlie Giddings; our fab 'treating' speechies from our sister practice Voice Medicine Australia; our longtime and suffering strobe wizard Ryan Smith and close associate Annie Strauch; and our magnificent admin team who have been the backbone of our team led (in historical order) by Nina, Karenza, Anna, Leanne & now our beautiful Michelle.
Most importantly we thank the 21,800+ people who have come to our clinic and trusted us with your voice care. You have enriched our lives and are the reason we love what we do.
Finally, we acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung traditional custodians of the land around the Birrarung (Yarra River), where we’ve spent all of our time over the last 30 years. It’s a privilege to keep learning and gathering on this beautiful Country.
